June, 1692. Bridget Bishop is the first person hanged in the Salem Witch Trials.

Local folklore purports that this former midwife owned a tavern in Salem Town, and walked around town at night wearing a red cloak. It is said that when her ghost passes you by, the scent of apples hangs in the air.
